OUR TEAM


CityLife Church is headed up by Ben and Sarah Harrowfield (Lead Kaitiaki). Church Leadership consists of Kaitiaki working alongside a Board of Trustees, who together, provide spiritual direction and governance. Ben is employed to function as overall oversight.

Kaitiaki are appointed and instated in consultation with leadership support provided by LinkNZ. Trustees are nominated and approved by Kaitiaki.


KAITIAKI

CityLife Church is lead by a team of Kaitiaki—traditionally known as guardians they have a similar role to the traditional ‘eldership’. Headed up by Ben and Sarah Harrowfield, this team is responsible for the the spiritual oversight, vision and outworking mission of the church.

CLNPT

CityLife New Plymouth Trust is a Charitable Trust that exists to serve the outworking mission of CityLife Church in New Plymouth. Appointed Trustees oversee governance issues pertaining to property, personnel and finances that are required to resource activities in the church and our wider community.

The current Trust Board comprises Alan Chapman (Chairperson), Steve Finnigan (Deputy Chair), Jesse Watt (Treasurer), Fleur Newbold (Secretary), Selena O’Doherty, Bronwyn Gilliver, and Ben Harrowfield.

Lead Kaitiaki

Ben’s role is to lead the kaitiaki (leadership) team and oversee the running of CityLife. Ben’s role is full time.

 

Marian Hodgkinson

Church Life Curator

Marian brings a prophetic approach to curating the environment and getting alongside people to encourage them in their gifts, volunteering and much more. Marian is employed 20 hours per week.

 

Fleur Newbold

Formation and Pastoral

Co-ordinator

Fleur’s role is to oversee the development and practice of formation here at CityLife while co-ordinate and support the pastoral function of the church. Fleur is employed 20 hours a week.

LinkNZ is a network bringing churches together in authentic relationship, Spirit life and mission. CityLife has been part of this network for many decades.

LinkNZ evolved out of a revelation that apostolic relationships are designed to give leadership, connection and inspiration to the church. LinkNZ is a missional network, working throughout this nation and beyond, with a passion to see churches planted and nurtured to reach their full potential.
